GCSE, IGCSE and A Level Tuition
Educational Consultation Services across the Key Stages
Nexus Educate delivers one-to-one tuition, small group classes and Distance Learning Courses in The Liberal Arts: English, English Literature, Film Studies, Media Studies, Sociology, Politics and History.
We offer distance learning courses and classes for Home Educated Students. Our courses provide the expertise needed for examination success but also the creative and critical thinking skills necessary for future study.
We believe in flexible teaching, moulded to the needs of individual students and always choose the syllabus most suited to candidates' own abilities and preferences. This level of autonomy keeps our courses engaging and allows students to play to their strengths.
Lessons are designed to challenge and we always encourage students to aim for excellence. Students often go on to study our subjects at Uni and previous students now work in a range of roles in the Liberal Arts. Former Nexus Educate students now work in roles at Sony Digital Cinema, the TV Channel Dave, EMAP magazine publishing and ITV as well as in roles in central government, the Civil Service and The Guardian Newspaper. You have probably even seen some former Nexus Educate Students on TV!
At Nexus Educate, we are incredibly proud of our students' attainment, their top grades and high-powered jobs. However, our best moments in teaching have been the occasions when students have overcome obstacles to learning and surprised themselves with the quality of their finished work or achieved beyond the expectation of others.
Often, when we ask students what it was that made the difference for them, their answer is simple - fun! Whilst we don't set out to be cracking jokes every few minutes, we think that our own enjoyment of our subjects shines through. We can't help it! We love what we do!
'Inspirational teachers who instil confidence, motivate and go over and above to ensure students achieve the best possible results.... couldn't recommend highly enough...continues to have a fantastic impact on my daughter's learning.' LB.
'He is full of praise for you. You're his best teacher. Someone who hated the subject loves it because of you.' SJ.

'...very helpful providing exam tips and excellent advice for my daughter. I wish I had heard of Laura earlier as I would have sent my daughter to her sooner. She is an excellent teacher and I would recommend her to all. My daughter attended her extra revision classes during Easter and she thoroughly enjoyed and gained a lot from those classes prior to taking her GCSE exams.'

Nexus guided me through my English GCSE and provided me with essential essay feedback, which helped me immensely. They also helped with my university and masters applications, gaining me places at Durham University and Goldsmith's College London. Their guidance has been essential in my progression to higher education. Would highly recommend to anyone!

'I wholeheartedly believe that I wouldn't have achieved an A grade in English literature without her thoughtful assistance and critical advice. Without that grade, I do not think that I would have been able to go on to study History and Politics at a red brick university and become a successful project manager at a payments software company.'
